FOLLOWING the flood of tweets from AlDub fans, international DJ Isaac Mahmood Noell, the man behind the Trumpets craze, might soon visit the Philippines to challenge Pambansang Bae Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza to a dance showdown.
On Twitter, Sak Noel received several tweets after a video of Richards and “That’s my Bae” finalists dancing to the song was uploaded on the Eat Bulaga YouTube and Facebook pages. The video has more than 71,000 views as of last night. Richards earlier performed the dance in the June 4 episode of “Eat Bulaga” and during the opening number for AlDub Weeksary’s celebration last Thursday afternoon.
Fans tweeted about the performance, tagging Sak Noel and asking him to do the Trumpet challenge with Richards and his partner, Maine Mendoza.
“So I should dance the #TrumpetsChallenge with @aldenrichards02 & @mainedcm or what?!,” Sak Noel tweeted.
After a while, Richards replied initially to the tweet and said yes, then later posted a longer reply.
“I’m ready to do the #Trumpetschallenge with you @saknoel. Come here in the Philippines. We will all be waiting for you in @EatBulaga,” wrote Richards around 10 p.m. last Thursday.
Sak Noel later retweeted Richard’s post and wrote a caption, ”Challenge accepted,” with emojis of an airplane and the Philippine flag.
Mendoza also accepted the challenge, saying she needed to prepare her dance moves.
The Trumpets dance craze has been a hit among Filipinos, with several amateur videos of groups of friends dancing to the song being circulated in social media sites.
