Lapu bridge jumper found dead

AN unidentified man believed to have jumped from Marcelo Fernan Bridge on Sunday morning was found dead yesterday afternoon at the Cebu International Port.

The man, believed to be in his late 40s and stands about 5’4”, was wearing a white shirt printed with “Sunpride,” grey long pants and black rubber shoes.

The Opao Police Station in Mandaue alerted the Philippine Coast Guard and Maritime Office 7 after receiving a call from a concerned citizen regarding a man floating at the Mactan channel near the first bridge past 2 p.m. yesterday afternoon. A search was then conducted which yielded positive result.
