Fire destroys four houses, damages three in Labangon

ABOUT P200,000 in property were destroyed by a fire that razed seven houses in sitio Bugnay Uno Barangay Labangon, Cebu City at past 9 am Tuesday.

SFO4 Jovito Abelgas of the Cebu City Fire Station said four houses were made of light materials while three were damaged. A fire wall stands between the houses preventing the flames from spreading.

Abelgas said they received the alarm at 9:44 am, and 15 minutes later the fire was declared under control. He said initial reports indicated that the fire started at a two-story wooden house owned by a certain Concepción delos Reyes. /UP Cebu Intern Morexette Erram
