Rose Pharmacy chess July 16-17

THE annual Rose Pharmacy Chess Classic, one of the biggest chess tournaments in Cebu, will unfold from July 16 to 17 at the Robinson’s Galleria Cebu.

The cash rich event will adopt a seven-round Swiss system format with 25 minutes allocated each round.

The champion will take home P5,000 while the runner-up will get P3,000. The third placer wins P1,000. The fourth to 10th placers won’t go home empty handed as they will receive P400 each.

Meanwhile, the top three kiddies and ladies participants will also get cash rewards.
