THE Rams’ Armando de Jesus showed why he is one of the leading Most Valuable Player (MVP) contenders as he erupted for 56 points to lead his team to an 85-82 win over the Eagles in the 6th Elite Basketball Club Cebu last Friday night at the Visayan Glass Gym in Guadalupe.
De Jesus’ eruption was the league’s highest scoring performance in a single game, shattering the old record of 44 points made by the Panthers’ Neil Buot.
The Rams improved to 6-2 (win-loss).
