ACTRESS Jennylyn Mercado has signed a new contract with her home network, GMA. The contract signing was made live through the official Facebook account of GMA Network yesterday with the hashtag #JennylynUltimate Star that started last Sunday.

Jennylyn, a multi-awarded actress, entrepreneur, fitness advocate and influential endorser sealed her contract in the presence of GMA Chairman and CEO Felipe Gozon, President and COO Gilberto Duavit Jr., CFO Felipe Yalong, VP for Entertainment Marivin Arayata, SVP for Entertainment Lilybeth Rasonable, VP for Drama Redgie Magno, AVP for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy, Films President Annette Gozon-Abrogar, and SVP for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara.

“Parang thirteen (years na akong Kapuso). I feel blessed and wala naman akong plano mag-stay sa iba. This is my home. GMA is my home,” she said in a GMA news interview.

Rumors about her transfer came about after she was paired with Kapamilya actor John Lloyd Cruz for the film “Just The 3 Of Us,” which was produced by Star Cinema, ABS-CBN’s film outfit.

Jennylyn has been dubbed as the Ultimate Star, for her versatility in taking up any role offered to her.

She started her career at Kapuso network after winning as Ultimate Female Survivor in the first season of the reality artista search Starstruck, alongside Mark Herras who emerged as the Ultimate Male Survivor.

Jennylyn, who is known for her lead roles in the blockbuster films such as “English Only Please,” and “#WalangForever,” was accompanied by her mom Lydia, and son Jazz during the signing of the contract.
