Osalo-Peroy duo leads DROP 9 badminton winners

EAGER to obtain validation of their skills, a total of 64 badminton fanatics trooped to the Metrosports Badminton Center in Lahug last Saturday to compete in the DROP 9 Invitational Badminton Tournament.

Leading the list of winners was the duo of Fritz Osalo and Andreimaire Reales Peroy, who ruled Level E after defeating Brian Dalce and Rey Villamor in the finals. The tandem of Gerard Cosicol and Keith Rosales settled for third place.

The finals match in the Level F division saw John Dione delos Reyes and Roel Dac’s of the Baddicts Stars emerging victors over Drop 9’s Jimmy Wu and Paul Eustaquio. Third place went to Gilbert Taghoy and Brandon Discaya.

In the Level G division, Rojelou Manuales and Echel A-an topped Antoine Resty Esmejarda and Enrico Chaz Lanticse to cop their level’s championship trophy.
DROP 9 Tournament Organizer Raffy Bonghanoy Pañibon and the rest of the DROP 9 team said they were pleased with the outcome of the tournament and are hoping to hold more competitions in the future.
