REGARDLESS of the outcome of his fight abroad this week, Marlon “Maranding Nightmare” Tapales is set to get a huge break as ALA Promotions International is planning to take him under its fold.
In an e-mail, ALA Promotions International revealed that Tapales’ camp headed by his manager Rex Wakee Salud and ALA Promotions International matchmaker Edito Villamor are already discussing the possibility of signing him.
Tapales is scheduled to take on WBO world bantamweight champion Pungluang Sor Singyu on July 27 in Thailand.
If plans don’t miscarry, Tapales (28W-2L, 1KO) will be joining a promotional outfit that also promotes the longest-reigning Filipino boxing world champion Donnie Nietes, Pagara brothers Jason and Albert, Mark Magsayo and Arthur Villanueva.
