Suspected drug dealer shot dead in Tejero

THE top drug dealer in the watch list of Cebu City police station 3 was shot dead along D. Gaisano St., Barangay Tejero in Cebu City at 1:35 a.m. Monday.

The slain suspected drug dealer was identified as Regino dela Cruz, a resident of Sitio Looban, Villagonzalo II, Tejero.

Insp. Raymond Hortezuela, deputy chief of police station 3, said they received a call informing them that dela Cruz carried a firearm.

Police arrived at the area and dela Cruz supposedly took aim before Hortezuela fired several shots at him. Dela Cruz died on the spot./UP Cebu intern Amy Macalinao
