Rama questions Osmeña’s move to sell SRP pond F

FORMER Mayor Michael Rama questioned Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña’s move to sell a lot in the South Road Properties (SRP) since Osmeña was opposed to the sale of lots to three big companies.

Osmeña earlier said he wanted to dispose a 1.5 hectare lot of the pond F. “Ngano mamaligya man ta now (Why are we selling it now)?,” Rama said during Monday’s press conference.

Rama sold two lots to Filinvest and the consortium of SM and Ayala totaling to P16.7 billion. The three companies already paid P8.4 billion.
