A DRUG pusher died in yet another buy operation this time at barangay Ibabao, Cordova town at past Tuesday noon.
Jonathan Bentulan, a resident of the area, was rushed by police to the Lapu-Lapu City Hospital after sustaining gunshot wounds in his body but he failed to make it.
Senior Insp. Jomar Medel, Cordova police chief, said Bentulan was in their drug watch list who refused to surrender during their Oplan TokHang.
During the negotiation, Bentulan sensed the presence of police and tried to shoot at police who fired back. Recovered from his possesion were one .38 revolver, six small sachets of suspected shabu and marked money.
Police also arrested Bentulan’s friend Rosendo Baguio who was at Bentulan’s house at the time.
