GET IMOK’S KILLERS FAST!

Netizens were aghast and angry over the death of Ermita Barangay Captain Felicisimo “Imok” Rupinta, who was killed in an ambush in Liloan town at 8:12 p.m. on Thursday.

A netizen named Pa Perto wrote, “The police should catch the killer/s fast! So coward the people behind this ambush.”

Mellanie Path commented, “Tanawa na kung ma dakpan, Mag sulti-sulti drama drama dayon na. Maypag di nalang jud na buhian kung ma dakpan na sila. Dag samok (Let’s see if arrests can be made. I bet the suspects, if arrested, will attempt to ask for leniency. We should never set them free)!”

A netizen named Fraces Olly also wrote, “Justice will be served, katong mga killers, dili sila angay hatagan ug kalooy (They don’t deserve our pity)!”

However, a netizen named Samantha Esther said strict gun laws should be imposed and more drug operations should be conducted to avoid these things from happening.

“It is high time that the Philippines should impose strict gun laws. (Only) people like the police should be allowed to own a gun, however, they should also make laws with regards to those other policemen who abuse their power (just because they have a gun). And plus, more drug operation should be conducted – illegal drugs are the root cause.”
