A 49-YEAR-OLD security guard was found dead inside a classroom of an elementary school in Lapu-Lapu City early morning yesterday.
Police identified the fatality as Jocinto Flores, a security guard of Black Arrow Security Agency detailed at the Buaya Elementary School.
The body was discovered by Grade 1 teacher Cherielen Ancajas at 6:30 a.m.
Police said Flores sustained head injuries, indicating he may have been struck with a hard object.
Some construction workers told police that they last saw Flores alive when he patrolled the school premises around 11 p.m. last Monday.
Police are still conducting further investigation on the incident.
