Saucony-backed triathletes ready

SAUCONY’S brand ambassadors headed by IronMan 70.3 Asia Pacific and Philippine champion Tim Reed of Australia and Cebuano celebrity triathlon hotshot Matteo Guidicelli of Team Ford Forza are ready to compete compete in their respective divisions in today’s Cobra IronMan 70.3 Asia Pacific Championships in Cebu.

The race that will be starting and finishing at the Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa in Lapu-Lapu City will feature 2,975 athletes from 43 countries.

Reed, Guidicelli and the rest of Team Ford Forza are among those who will compete in the prestigious event. They will be backed by noted shoe brand Saucony.

“I know that it’s going to be a very tough race, considering the deep field of pro triathletes in my division. But I will assure you that I will go out there to give my best,” said Reed, who is Team Saucony’s ace athlete and brand ambassador.

Guidicelli and the rest of the Team Ford Forza forged a partnership with Saucony for the first time. The rest of Team Ford Forza are Joseph Miller, Elmo Clarabal, Jomer Lim, Gianluca Guidicelli, Giorgia Guidicelli and Dyan Castillejo.
