Diamante retains seat as League of Municipalities Cebu president

Incumbent League of Municipalities of the Philippines Cebu Chapter president Tuburan Mayor Democrito Diamante retains seat after being unopposed during Friday afternoon’s election.

Diamante was nominated by Consolacion Mayor Teresa Alegado. Even without an opponent, the mayors decided to proceed with voting through viva vochè or secret balloting.

He was voted by the majority of 38 mayors present during the election.
