MICMIC Miranda downed 1,309 pinfalls in six games to clinch the August title in the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (CETBA) “Bowler of the Month” tourney last Sept. 3 at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center.
Miranda averaged 218 pinfalls and anchored his win with a 217 in the fifth round to hold off Jomar Jumapao who toppled 1,293 pinfalls good for second lace. Roland Bantilan finished third with 1,248 pinfalls.
Fred Torrequemada (1,244) and Ging Francisco (1,223) rounded off the Top 5.
Sixth to 10th placers were Emie Osada (1,209), Fel Alasagas (1,208), Baby Bacon (1,195), Beth Ngo (1,193) and CETBA President Gretchen Tormis (1,141).
The 11th to 20th placers were Bonnie Tanchuangko (1,135), John Galindo (1,129), Ed Dilla (1,110), CETBA Vice President Docdoc Gothong (1,096), Bong Supremo (1,089), Manny Bueno (1,088), Brian Sy (1,087), Cedric Alimbuyong (1,076), Celis Viloria (1,050) and Makoto Osada (1,040).
