DORMAKABA and Davies Paints remained ahead of the pack as they logged in convincing wins over their respective opponents in the 2016 Architects + Engineers Basketball Association Corporate Cup on Sunday at the Cebu Eastern College gym.
In spite getting a penalty of 15 points for having less than 10 players, Dormakaba, last conference’s runners-up showed their mettle and beat Fenestram, 73–63.
Davies Paints also edged Sea Olympus, 66–61.
Davies Paints and Dormakaba now hold similar 2–0 (win-loss) records.
Phoenix evened up its record at 1–1 with a resounding 97–54 win over the defending champions Megabond. Paul Besinga led the way for Phoenix with 20 points.
Megabond fell to the bottom of the standings alongside Fenestram at 0–2.
