WEDDING bells just keep on ringing this year!
Three days after their civil wedding in Manila, Cristalle Belo Henares and Justin Pitt have flown to Lake Como in Italy for a grand ceremony best described by their friends as a wedding “fit for a queen.”
On Thursday, the couple tied the knot in Villa Erba, where Hollywood film “Ocean’s Twelve” was shot.
Photos of Cristalle’s wedding to Australian hotelier Justin have been posted by friends in different social media sites.
The couple had their pre-nuptial photoshoot in the scenic Lake Como. Her bridesmaids Ruffa Guttierrez, Timmy Aquino, Celine Willard, and Noelle Hillario also took the speedboat around the lake before the ceremony started.
Guests were treated to an-eat-all-you-can gelato on a cone, that even her Cristalle’s younger sister Scarlet Snow couldn’t help herself.
The couple was surrounded by family—Cristalle’s mother Dr. Vicky Belo and father Atom Henares, Dr. Belo’s partner Hayden Kho, Cristalle’s brother Quark Henares, and their friends Tim Yap, Raymond Gutierrez, Rajo Laurel, Charina Sarte, Phoemela Barranda, Frank Briones, Thelma Sioson-San Juan, among many others.
On her Instagram, Cristalle shared that they opted to have a civil wedding in Manila since her 92-year-old grandfather could not make it to Italy for the grand ceremony.
“This celebration was really for my 92-year-old grandfather, Larry Henares, who is unable to fly to Lake Como to be with us on our wedding day. He is my only living grandparent. This smile is priceless,” she captioned a photo he posted during their civil wedding.
Cristalle’s and Justin’s love story started after they were set up by common friends, and started their acquaintance via online chat. They first met in Abu Dhabi, where Justin works as a resident manager for a luxury resort in 2014.
When Justin became general manager under the same group of hotels that same year, he requested to be assigned in Cambodia for him to be at least a few hours closer via plane ride to Cristalle. The two eventually got engaged in The Maldives in August last year.
