ECCP mounts energy congress

THE European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) together with Conergy, one of the largest solar energy companies, is organizing Energy SMART Visayas on October 13 at Radisson Blu Cebu.

The whole day congress will have four points in its agenda: the hurdles of maintaining adequate power from generation to distribution; future policies that can ensure a sustainable energy framework for Visayas; an exploration to expand our future energy sources towards biofuels and solar which can be locally generated to augment the islands’ total energy output; and the success stories of companies who already have existing energy saving technology and practices in place.

Visayas needs to prepare for its rising energy needs in order to remain competitive.

Energy SMART Visayas congress focuses on the 2016-2030 Philippine Energy Plan of secure, affordable, reliable and sustainable energy in line with the Duterte administrations’ roadmap of a progressive Philippines.

Power company leaders, Department of Energy representatives, policy makers, business front-runners, green technology advocates and the consuming public will get an opportunity to address their points of issues during the open forum.

This interactive congress will also showcase exhibition booths on renewable technology.
