Two persons were found dead in two separate areas in Cebu City Thursday morning.
In sitio Caimito, Barangay Lorega San Miguel, a 51-year-old man identified as Leo Remonde Solon was found dead inside his house.
Senior Insp. Manuel Cañete said the victim’s son found his father lifeless inside his room when he woke up. The informant said he saw his father kneeling with his head tied with a nylon rope. The rope was tied to a beam.
Initial investigation showed that Solon allegedly suffered from diabetes and tuberculosis before allegedly taking his life.
Two hours later in Barangay Kamagayan, Cebu City a Swede named Bengt Ove Sandberg was found hanging lifeless inside his room in a hotel.
The Cebu City police’s Homicide Section is investigating the incident.
