THE Philippine Society for Training and Development Cebu (PSTD Cebu), the premier organization of training professionals, coaches, educators and learning advocates in the country, will hold its third International Training and Development Summit.
The summit, with the theme, “The Learning Spectrum: Firing Up Future-proof Organizations” will be held on November 22 at the Cebu City Waterfront Hotel and Casino.
PSTD will gather the most engaging, most authoritative and influential thought leaders in today’s global learning and performance landscape including Asian Institute of Management (AIM) President and CEO Jikyeong Kang; multinational speaker and best-selling author Mike Grogan; Viventis Search Asia Executive Director Yu Ming Chin; and brand strategist, coach and best-selling author Jerome Joseph.
Scott Friedman, an internationally sought-after professional speaker, author and a motivational humorist, is slated to do the opening. Friedman is an expert in employee innovation/engagement, customer experience and using humor/celebration as a strategic tool.
Paul N. Larsen, the author of the book “Find Your Voice as a Leader,” will be the summit’s closing keynote speaker. Larsen is a certified executive coach and an engaging leadership consultant and speaker.
As a former C-level executive for a $3-billion corporation, he has over 30 years’ of experience creating a leadership legacy at such iconic organizations as Adobe Systems, Charles Schwab, United Airlines and Bristol-Myers Squibb.
For the postsummit conference, the PSTD, together with the Primary Group of Builders, will be bringing in Dr. Paul Stoltz. Dr. Stoltz is the originator of Adversity Quotient (AQ) and the leading expert on the theory, integration and application of GRIT and resilience. The conference, which is in partnership with Peak Learning of USA, Viventis of Manila, will be held on December 2, also at the Cebu City Waterfront Hotel and Casino.
Dubbed as the Grisilient Leader: Becoming a leader in today’s tumultuous, adversity-rich times, the Grisilient Leader will equip participants with a unique and powerful meld of the best of GRIT and Resilience, in one session.
The Grisilient principles and tools have been adopted by Harvard Business School, MIT, INSEAD, Carnegie Mellon and hundreds of industry-leading companies, as global best practices.
