Two workers electrocuted

Two construction workers fell after being electrocuted at a construction site along N. Escario Street Monday afternoon.

The victims were identified as Guerardo and Brando Paran, two brothers contracted to help build an extension building for a hotel in the area.

The two men were carrying reinforcement bars measuring 30 feet from the ground when the bars got entangled to a high-tension wire, that electrocuted them.

According to PO3 Henry Abatayon of the Fuente Police Station, both men were brought to Cebu Doctor’s Hospital.

The brothers are alivethough Guerardo is unconscious.
