Supreme Court Associate Justice belies exam leakage

With unverified reports making the rounds online regarding alleged leakage in the Bar examinations in recent days, 2016 Bar Examinations Chairperson Presbitero Velasco Jr. has released a statement to belie the report.

In his statement, Velasco said that the Office of the Bar Chairperson “has investigated the matter and has come to the conclusion that the questions remained confidential before the scheduled exam.”

Among the rumors that had been circulating was that the examinations in mercantile law, criminal law and taxation will be nullified due to the alleged leakage.

The 2016 Bar examination is held during the four Sundays of November. The results are usually released six months after the Bar exams.
