MAO BA?

KARMA
A city official was moping because he and his staff were not invited to a Christmas party which was being held outside the building where he holds office.

Some city personnel were busy putting up the outdoor stage as well as the lights and other decorations for the event when a few minutes later, it started raining cats and dogs.

With a smirk, the city official said it must have been karma. He said, though, that he hoped the rain would stop.

FLOOD, ANYONE?

When it starts to rain hard, many parts of Metro Cebu easily get flooded, and urban flooding has been repeatedly used by rival politicians against each other.

Prior to this year’s elections, a former official was ranting heavily against the then administration for not solving the flooding. He promised to address it if he were sent back to office. Now that he is back, the flooding remained unsolved, noted a Facebook user who has been posting photos of heavily flooded streets in Metro Cebu, mostly in Cebu City’s downtown area.

NOT ON SALE AFTER ALL

Three friends visited a high-end store which offered a three-day buy one, take one sale for their shoes, bags and other accessories. The shoes were too expensive, so they settled on two bags and two caps. It took them a while to decide on the color and style of the caps, but when they got to the cashier, they were told the caps were not included in the sale. Too bad.
