The Barangay Ginebra Gin Kings scored an 89-76 win over the Star Hotshots in Game 7 of the PBA Philippine Cup semifinal series Tuesday night at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Sol Mercado had 23 points for the crowd-favorite Gin Kings, who advanced to the finals to face the defending champion San Miguel Beer.
Allein Maliksi led the Hotshots with 22 points.
