AFTER winning his first triathlon title last April, Cebuano duathlete Joland Olmilla is confident that he can put up a decent performance in the Musa Man Triathlon this Sunday in Davao.
The 24-year-old Olmilla, who started joining triathlon races this year, is fresh off winning the Baybay 8080 triathlon last April 30, clocking three hours, 32 minutes and 43 seconds. He defeated perennial Cobra 70.3 Ironman triathlon competitor Banjo Norte in the process.
“It’s hard to tell if I can win but I will give my very best to be the champion,” said the Omega Pro triathlete Olmilla.
Olmilla, who will be joining the 18-24 age category, will be up against 17 triathletes that include the redemption-seeking Norte, Lloyd Umpad, Robertino Roque, Andrei Sajulga, Gian Karlo Sam and teammate Alten Amor of Omega Pro Tri Team.
