JUNIOR BOWLER Heber Alqueza dominated the June edition of the Bowlingplex Tenpin Association (BTA)-PRIMA Monthly open last Sunday at the Gaisano Bowlingplex in Cebu City.
Alqueza finished the six-game series with 1,312 pinfalls.
He had high-scoring games in rounds four to six. He had 235, 226 and 259 pinfalls in games four, five and six, respectively.
Luther Tapaya finished second place with 1,309 pinfalls while Luke Bolongan rounded off the top three bowlers with 1,270 pinfalls.
Maeng Viloria settled for fourth place with 1,256 pinfalls followed by BTA president Bel Suelto Jr. with 1,246 pinfalls at fifth place.
Sixth to 10th placers were Dory Enoveso (1,243), Clifford Tan (1,232), Boy Co (1,207), Christopher Garcia (1,183) and Clarence Tiu (1,174), respectively.
Alqueza earned a ticket to the “Bowler of the Year” competition slated this December, where he will compete against other monthly champions.
