Mary Rose Ditsos earned the monickers “Sari-Sari Queen” or “Dancing Tindera (seller)” of Consolacion after she uploaded a video of her dancing to the beat of Icona Pop’s song “Girlfriend” to get the attention of her crush, and netizens showed their appreciation for her efforts.
Her video, which she uploaded on June 10, now has 2.4 million views and 20,000 shares. Her follow up video dancing to Despacito, uploaded on July 4, now has 700K views.
Jason Race said, “Good (for) you girl .. keep aiming for the top with hard work and dedication.”
Beau Ideal Florenosos wrote, “She is super talented.”
Another netizen, Edwin Engreso Arites said, “Unli steeping and vice versa.. keep it virally.”
With her newfound fame, Ditsos said she was planning to come up with more videos soon, which would still involve dancing but with a twist.
