Teen caught with pistol, shabu

A teenager who figured in a vehicular accident in Barangay Lusaran, Cebu City was arrested after police found one pistol and sachets of shabu in his possession.

The 19-year-old suspect identified as Juvyniel Banote will face illegal drugs and firearms possession, said Senior Insp. Ayeeza Otida of the Cebu City police.

Otida said Banote was supposed to report to his probationary officer when the accident occurred. Banote rode a motorcycle when he collided with another motorcycle rider whose identity was not disclosed.
