Drug suspect slain over P300K shabu seized

A SUSPECTED drug pusher died in a shootout with police during an aborted drug bust in Barangay Poblacion near a cockpit arena in Sierra Bullones town, Bohol province at 7:20 pm last Saturday.

The suspect identified as James Reyes, a resident of the area, pulled out a gun after sensing that he dealt with police assets resulting to a shootout that left him severely wounded.

He was rushed to the nearest hospital where he died afterward. Reyes supposedly ranked sixth in the police’s high value target drug list.

Recoverd from his possession were several firearms and shabu worth P354,000.
