An 18-year old man was arrested after trying to snatch a girl’s mobile phone in the national highway of Consolacion town, northern Cebu on Thursday, August 24.
Consolacion police officers were patrolling along the highway in Barangay Cansaga when they saw two men grabbing a woman’s phone.
One of the suspects, 18-year old Joshua Ceniza, was arrested while the other man managed to escape.
Ceniza also yielded a sachet of suspected shabu.
Police are now conducting manhunt operation against the other suspect identified as “Hon-hon.”
Robbery charges will be filed against the two suspects. While Ceniza may also face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
