Seniors, juniors teams rout foes in Cesafi hoops

The University of Cebu (UC) made a dreary Tuesday twice as nice as their high school and collegiate squads logged commanding victories in the 17th Cesafi basketball tournament yesterday at the Cebu Coliseum.

After losing their first two assignments, the Baby Webmasters have found a winning formula and upped their streak to three games, after beating the University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF), 91-78.

Virlou Orquez led the UC bantams with 22 points to help the team improve to 3-2 (win-loss).
USPF absorbed its fifth straight defeat.

The Webmasters were just as dominant, registering a 75-57 win over the Cebu Institute of Technology-University (CIT-U) Wildcats for their third victory in five tries.

Cameroonian forward Frederick Elombi continued his fine play as he scored 26 points, grabbed 15 rebounds and added two steals and two blocked shots. Jayvee dela Cruz added 13 points, three steals and two blocks.
