CEBUANO netters Aaron Kevin Tabura and Mitch Largo got off to blazing starts as they advance to the second round in the 12-under boys category of the 3rd Citigreen Junior Tennis Cup yesterday at the Citigreen Tennis Resort in Brgy. Punta Princesa, Cebu.
The nine-year-old Tabura blasted JP Silmaro, 8-2 while Largo moved to the next round without breaking a sweat as he scored a walkover victory against Khirstan Estrera.
In other 12-U boys’ games, Gio Manito annihilated Glen Tito, 8-1 while Andrei Lago blanked Godwin Velasquez 8-0.
