Operations at the Cebu IT Park in Barangay Apas, Cebu City returned to normal after a vintage bomb that was recovered in a construction site in the area is set to be transferred to Carmen Copper in Toledo City for proper disposal.
The director of the Police Regional Director in Central Visayas (PRO-7), Jose Mario Espino urged the public to not panic and to refrain from spreading unverified posts on social media.
Cebu City Councilor Dave Tumulak said this is not the first time a vintage bomb was found at the IT Park this year.
He said about 10 vintage bombs were discovered and were properly disposed of.
