PARAGLIDING ANYONE?
Netizens got excited after a paragliding coach announced a plan to create a paragliding community in Cebu, specifically in Oslob town in southern Cebu.
Belen Diez wrote, “Paragliding is my dream sport, thrilling and exciting experience seguro na! I would love to be a part of the community. OMG!”
Anne Zhang, who has been anticipating the news, declared she would visit Cebu once the paragliding community comes into being.
“Finally this came out from the news. I love Cebu and I love paragliding. I’d go visit Cebu back if a paragliding community is made, this will draw a lot of attention to all sports enthusiasts out there. Hope this materializes,” said the foreigner.
M Roy Gumere also wrote, “This will make Oslob more fun and exciting. OMG Luh I cannot wait najud.”
According to Malcolm Vargas, an American paragliding coach, Oslob will soon be the paragliding center in the Visayas with its geography, topography and wind maps pointing to a perfect paragliding experience.
Vargas is also looking forward to creating a paragliding community in Cebu for him to share his experience and expertise.
