Man shot dead in Alcantara town

A man was shot dead by unidentified motorcycle riding assailants right after he attended a court hearing in Barili town at 3 pm on Monday.

Chief Insp. Rosemarie Acupinpin of the Alcantara police precinct identified the victim as Edgar Garol Gador, a 47-year-old native of Moalboal town.

Gador was shot twice on the head by the assailants at Barangay Poblacion, Alcantara town. He was with his wife Merlina Gador when the attack occurred.

The victim was brought to Badian District Hospital but he failed to make it.
