Some netizens voiced their disappointment over news of the arrest of two pregnant women in a drug bust in Barangay Carreta, Cebu City, past 8 p.m. on Sunday.
Lucia Navices Sedon said in Cebuano that the women could have washed clothes to earn a
living.
“Ngita man gud mo trabaho nga hayahay…watch and learn…God bless ninyo duha (You looked for an easy job and easy money. Watch and learn. God bless to both of you).
Ana Bejasa Caballero also said, “Sus naman oo sa kadaghan pwde trabaho on kana pa inyong napili..mayra sad para mo undang mog pamaligya.” (You could always find a decent job, why do you have to choose that? Nonetheless, you deserve what happened to both of you. Maybe in that way, you’ll stop selling illegal drugs)
