The Department of Public Works and Highway (DPWH) Second District Chief Engineer Leslie Anthony Molina pushes for a full closure of the city-bound portion of Mananga Bridge 3 for rehabilitation and preventive maintenance.

Molina said that they target to finish the 28-million bridge rehabilitation project sooner than the projected 70-day time frame.

The project will include replacement of its expansion joints and road asphalting of the 390-m bridge.

Molina is meeting with the Talisay traffic management office today to present the diversion route plan for the project that will commence tentatively on April 27.
