A former inmate who is the suspect of killing a 22-year-old man in Barangay Calamba, Cebu City was arrested by the operatives of the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) Homicide Section on Saturday afternoon in a hot pursuit operation.
Albert Caraballe, the suspect who shot dead Daryl Bercede was arrested on Friday night in A. Lopez St., Barangay Calamba.
SPO1 Winston Ybañez of San Nicholas Police Station said the motive of the shooting is drug-related.
The suspect is now detained in San Nicholas Police precinct pending the filing of charges against him.
