Nine persons were arrested while more than P100,000 worth of shabu were seized by Lapu-Lapu City police in two separate drug busts last Saturday.
In Sitio Kalinga, Barangay Mactan, police arrested 40-year-old Neregan Rombo and 46-year-old Maribel Abala along with five others at their house in the area.
Rombo, a drug suspect in the police watchlist, yielded three sachets of shabu and drug paraphernalia while police seized from Abala one medium pack and eight sachets of shabu.
The other five cohorts identified as Nicanor Quisel, Naphtali Igot, Nelson Santial, Lenjune Manguilimotan and Richard Mangas yielded assorted drug paraphernalia.
The confiscated shabu had a street value of P18,998.00.
In Barangay Buaya, police arrested 50-year-old Ferderico Pateño and 48-year-old Eric Arquillano, both residents of the area. Seized from their possession were 32 sachets of shabu and one large pack of shabu worth P82,600.
