Idol Boxing Series 3 in Tabuelan on June 16

ALA Promotions International’s IDOL Boxing Series 3 is slated on June 16 at the northwestern Cebu town of Tabuelan and will feature homeboy and ALA Boxing Gym prospect Kevin Jake “KJ” Cataraja taking on Indonesian Frengky Rohi in a 10-rounder bout under the flyweight division.

IDOL 3, which is co-presented by Island Premium Paints, will be held at the Tabuelan Astrodome.

The last time that an IDOL Boxing Series took place was in 2016 in Mandaue City.

The 22-year-old Cataraja is unbeaten with seven wins with six knockouts while the 23-year-old Rohi has a record of five wins, four defeats, one draw and one knockout.

The undercard in this bout will feature Tagbilaran City’s Virgel Vitor (12-1-0,7KOs) versus journeyman Gerpaul Valero (22-20-4,16KOs) of Mandaue City under the 112lbs division for 10 rounds while Cebuano Christian Bacolod (8-0-0,6KOs) will square off against Ronnie Tanallon of General Santos City.
