WORK SUSPENSION

By: MAO BA? May 10,2018 - 08:22 PM

The work suspension on the onshore gas and oil site in Alegria town, Cebu drew mixed reactions from netizens.

Colin Sandell-Hay wrote, “This is sounding very disorganised. How come they haven’t revealed a full development plan?”

Sobriety said, “The most important question is why in the first place were they allowed to start operations without complying with all the requirements? That you stopped them means that you neglected to perform your duty. A big undertaking such as this cannot and should not escape your eye. ”

While a netizen named Tony Alegre commented, “ONLY 19 years? remember the Malampaya Oil Rig where Philippines got a pittance deal of 10%. A new deal with the Aussies where Philippines will ahem get a whopping 11% where ever that oil is located in the Philippines. PH leaders don’t really care about their own countrymen as Venezuela (Biggest) are in control and guess who will be in control of the deal at Alegria. Poor Filipinos who keep getting thrown under the bus but Filipinos will just shrug and endure. The Chinese will eat PH leaders big time.”
