DAR-7 has new Regional Director

LUIS Bueno Jr. is the new regional director of the Department of Agrarian Reform in Central Visayas (DAR-7).

Bueno replaced Regional Director Alejandro Otacan who is reassigned to Caraga Region.

Director Bueno has worked in the DAR for almost 30 years. He first entered DAR in 1988 as Provincial Agrarian Reform Officer II (PARO) of Palawan.

He then served as Paro II in the provinces of Batangas, Cavite, Rizal and Laguna.

He was previously assigned as the Assistant Director, officer–in-charge of the Bureau of Land Acquisition and Development in DAR Central Office.

He was the Assistant Regional Director in DAR Region 4-A and then 4-B. Prior to his assignment in Region 7, he served as the Regional Director in DAR Region 5 and then Region 4-A.
