AT LEAST 14 Job Order employees of the Talisay City Hall will be made to undergo rehabilitation after they tested positive for drug use.
Emely Cabrera, head of the Human Resources Department, said that the 14 JOs were advised to already cease from reporting for work starting next month.
Cabrera said they will be asked to complete their rehabilitation that will be paid for by the city government before they will be allowed to report back for work.
A total of 659 JOs were made to undergo drug testing on Monday while 541 others have until today to submit themselves to mandatory testing, which is a requirement for the renewal of their employment contracts with City Hall.
The Talisay City Hall has a total of 1,200 JOs.
Cabrera said a separate drug testing schedule will also be set for the city’s 340 regular employees.
