FEELING UNSAFE

The news on the recent spate of killings in Cebu frightened some Cebuano netizens.

Jessa Arboiz commented, “Na unsa naman ang kalibutan uy permi na lang naay patay makahadlok na di man sad mahadlok sila mo patay ug taw uy.”

Cyrah Alcazar wrote, “Nisaka naman sd nig balik ang crime rate karong panahona oyyy. Naunsa naman ni, di naman ni maayo para sa safety sa mga taw. Makuyawan naman sd ta anig mapusilan ta simbako.”

Maruel Losorata said, “Pray for our country … We need God intervention to stop this killing in our society today…”

Last Saturday evening (July 21), another man was shot dead by still unidentified assailants in Gabriel Elorde St., Barangay Mambaling in Cebu City. It came a day after four persons were killed in separate ambuscades in Talisay City,

On Sunday afternoon (July 22), three men were also killed by unidentified gunmen in BM Dimataga St., Lapu-Lapu City.
