THE UNIVERSITY of the Visayas and Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu kept their records clean as they logged in convincing wins in the Passerelle division of the 33rd SBP Passerelle Twin Tournament sponsored by Milo last weekend at the Ateneo de Cebu basketball courts along Mango Avenue.
UV dropped the Ateneo de Cebu Magis, 46-38, for its third win in a row.
The boys of head coach Ronald Bucao trailed, 15-20, at halftime before tying it all up at 27-all and then, dominating the fourth to nab the victory. Neil Fajardo led the way with 15 points while Christian Jay Alilin added 10.
The Ateneo de Cebu Lux Oriens also grabbed its third straight win with a 49-32 rout of Abellana National School.
The Lux Oriens held ANS to just two points in the first canto to set the tone for the lopsided affair.
In other games, the Sisters of Mary School-Boystown won over Cebu Eastern College, 45-39, while Don Bosco outlasted Southwestern University-Phinma in overtime, 45-38.
