Cebu City was in awe at the driving skills of Guinness World record holder and legendary stunt driver Russ Swift when he performed in front of Cebuanos last August 24 to 26 at the SM City Cebu North Open Parking lot.
It was the first time Swift showed off his incredible talent in the Visayas region.
Swift did some of his noted driving tricks on board Subaru vehicles. Motor Image Pilipinas, Inc., the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles in the Philippines, was responsible for bringing the world-renowned precision stunt driver to the Queen City of the South for the first time.
Aside from a photo op after every show, Swift also gave spectators a chance to feel how it is like riding with him when he does his stunts. Among those who tried was Cebu Daily News Marketing Specialist Ellah Quieta, who joined Swift when he turned the SM parking lot into a dancefloor for the Subaru WRX.
“It felt like dancing ballroon with 8-inch heels. Only the heels was a Subaru supercar, so nevertheless I still felt safe jiving with Mr. Swift,” Quieta said.
The event was part of the final leg of the 2018 Subaru Ultimate Test Drive that highlighted Subaru’s signature Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (SAWD), Boxer Engine, Subaru Global Platform and the new EyeSight Driver Assist Technology.
