The weather state bureau has advised people who will visit the cemeteries to wear light-colored and comfortable clothing.
Weather Specialist Nedz Saletrero of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) Mactan also reminded the public to drink plenty of water and bring umbrellas to avoid getting heat stroke.
Cebu’s temperature reached a maximum of 32 degrees celsius, and heat index between 38 to 39 degrees.
