A look at the top three teams in the ongoing PSDL basketball tourney

IN OBSERVANCE All Saints’ Day and All Souls Day, the 9th Private Schools Developmental League (PSDL) Basketball Tournament will have no scheduled games this weekend.

As the league takes a break, Cebu Daily News gives you the current standings in the different age groups of the basketball tournament.

In the 12-Under category, the top three teams respectively are Divine Life Institute of Technology (DLIC) with a 6-0 (win-loss) record, San Isidro Parish School (SIPS) with a 5-1 slate, and St. Benedict with a 4-2 record.

Monterey leads the 14-Under-A with a 5-0 standing followed by St. Louis College Cebu (SLCC) with a 4-2 record. Benthel Asia School of Technology (BAST) has a 4-1 record for third place.

DLIC (5-0), Salazar College of Science and Institute of Technology (4-1) and Paref Springdale (3-2) are the top three in the 14-Under-B.

In the 16-Under A, Colegio dela Inmaculada Concepcion-Cebu is in number 1 with a 7-0 record followed by SLCC (5-2) and SIPS (5-1).

La Consolacion College (LCC) (7-0), BAST (6-2), and Mt. Olive School of the Philippines (4-1) are the top three in the 16-Under B category.

Centre for International Education (CIE)’s 8-0 card is enough for a top spot in the 18-under division. DLIC (7-0) and LCC (5-3) are second and third, respectively in the 18-Under category.

The basketball tournament will resume on November 10.
