CEBU CITY, Philippines – Dr. Erwin Erfe, chief of the Public Attorneys Office (PAO) forensic team, confirmed that Christine Lee Silawan was raped before she was killed.
Erfe said they saw signs of abrasion and hematoma on Silawan’s private parts during an autopsy which they conducted a day before she was buried on March 23.

They also found out that Silawan’s face was burned using sulfuric acid.

Silawan’s half-naked body was found in a vacant lot in Barangay Bankal, Lapu-Lapu City early morning on March 11 or a few hours after she was last seen alive with her former boyfriend who is also a minor./dcb
